Great day in zoo...
Day 1 of attachment... one word to describe, and thats FUN!
Initially me and sarah really stone in the library after we were introduced around the vet hospital... but the real fun begins during lunch haha...
Feza, the lab technician, had her ex-boyfren harassing her and keep calling her hp, and all the others helped her by saying this is not her hp haha... and its damn funny haha... how the conversation sounds like is super hilarious hahaha... especially the conservatist/research asst Dr lucia haha... she talk sense to that guy, and when the call ended, FUCKING FREAK came out from her mouth haha... so damn funny and all of us burst into laughers lolll... and all these happened during the meal break, which took us about 2 hours until we find something else to do hahahah... and they can smoke there, and lucia took a puff or 2 from meria hahah... so damn zai la they all lol...
The environment is fun to work with so far, and i hope this will continue haha... we went to walk around the zoo like tourist when we have to wait for dr serena oh... when we come back from our strolling then serious business starts haha.. lab test! my favourite haha... here is a list of things i did...
- Packed cell volume
- Blood smears
- Unopette system (for white blood cell count)
- All of the above are for silver leaf eating langurs
- Serum biochemistry for elephants and silver leaf eating langurs
- Fecal smears and fecal floation test for bearded dragons
- Found pinworm eggs and coccidia under the microscope
- Observe the surgery for the monitor lizard whereby dr serena extract the dead tissues at the wound there
- Realised that the monitor lizard will stop its breathing when it is anaesthesized, so oxygen have to be flushed in using the reservoir bag at 2 minutes interval
The journey from my house to there takes me an hour only haha.. its super fast... and tml i will have to report at 10am, so i can catch somemore sleep haha...
Working hours: 9-630pm

Lunch provided, but as what they say, we will get sicked of it soon lolll...
5 days work, but public holidays and weekends have to work (I dont mind haha)
I wil get to learn more about my mp soon i suppose... and i hope the fun will continue throughout the whole internship period haha...
